How will a tonsillectomy feel with having TMJ (jaw problems) ?

2 weeks from now i'm getting my tonsils removed. i'm nervous because i have tmj symptoms in my left sided jaw. My jaw is locked many mornings and i have to reset it myself and sometimes when i open my mouth to wide it locks too. So, how bad will it be after the surgery?
