People who are suffering from Erythema Nodosum , or who have in the past....?

I am currently suffering my 2nd outbreak of Erythema nodosum, for a total of 13 weeks straight. I was put on 30mg of Prednisone going down 5mg every 4days, it seemed to help... until I was only taking 5mg I got more lumps forming and it has been getting worse and worse. I am taking 10mg daily now, for a few weeks and it does not seem to be helping at all!! My shins are now both compl,etly red and hot to touch with lumps on the calves and thighs, they are SO PAINFUL!! Any tips, or story's of past experiences would be really appreciated!! I feel like the only one, all three of the doctors |Iseen have never seen someone with this!! :(
