Hi, I bought a car yesterday from a dealer off the internet and i got it home 60miles away with a few problems temp hit 100! Took car to a garage to get it looked at it had a major overheating problem with the heater matrix and rad. Cost me 40 quid for diagnostics! Rang dealer up they said they would fix problem but NOT refund me under any cirstances. I had to get car to them which recovery cost me 200 quid! they wont refund this to me. If i wanted to take this to trading standards do i have a leg to stand on legally once the car is fixed. When i rang thedealer he kept trying to fob me off saying it will be fine etc!

I don't even use tobacco products, but this new federal and state tax has gone too far. My wife smokes and due to us being out of work has cut back and is trying to quit. The loose cigarette tobacco turns out to have had the highest taxes levied on it. What is next ammunition, alcohol, gasoline, electricity? Where does it ever end, with all of us in a forced tax labor camp? Hi everybody, im 5'3 and 12 years old i weigh i hate saying this but 141 pounds id really like some encouragement on losing weight. I dont look fat or skinny and im not made fun of!!!=) When i say this im saying the truth most of its baby fat not having a baby but you no what i mean, and some of it my doctor says its also from my asthma mediations i had asthma since i was 4 years old, it makes me cry to look at the pictures i saw of myself when i was little like wen i could walk; around ages 1 and a half to when i started using medication for asthma. I was sooo skinny i couldnt believe my weight now. After a while i ate alot of junk food which could be partly the problem also i am indian which mean i eat alot of rice(white) and stuff oh im, south indian just to let you know i try to eat only one cup of rice each day for dinner, make lunch 3 times a week when i go to school regular lunch P B and J sandwhich usually or tuna loveeee tuna with onions, and some water and a snakc like raw fruit and when i come home from school i eat and apple as a snack and then i have 3 gles of milk each day one in the morning and atleast 6 to 8 gles of water each day. also have gym 2 days of the week. I just cam back from Asia. I flew Singapore airlines, Cathay Pacific and Thai airways. For starter, the flight attendants are way nicer and prettier than those on US carriers. I have kinda the same fear with certain movies. They just disturb me, and I'm scared to see then in front of me when I open my eyes just like you. I understand you can't listen music all night just to help you sleep, i used to do that to help me. But I got over it by just thinking about conversations I've had with my best friend, or clearing my mind as much as possible. It's helped a lot. Also, you could try drinking some sleepy time tea and right before bed listen to your favorite song and then sing it to yourself over and over again until you drift off to sleep. About a month and a half ago, I took my children, what little stuff I could fit on the greyhound , and myself, and moved out of my husbands apartment. He had too many people staying in a two bedroom, and called me cold hearted because I wanted them out. (Our kids had to share a bedroom with us.) My husband drinks alcohol if not everyday, than faithfully every weekend. He becomes verbally, emotionally, and sometimes physically abusive towards me while he's drinking. Is your concentration low only when you sleep or also when awake? Did they do a sleep study on you to rule out sleep apnea? If it is only when you sleep, elevating the head of your bed may help. It allows for more expansion of your diaphragm for easier breathing. Could be some kind of respiratory or heart ailment. Could be shallow breathing while sleeping which is different from sleep apnea. 2003 F150 pcv valve location? Does it even have one?

I have a 4.2 V6 03 F150. I have searched the engine everywhere for the PCV valve. It's not on the valve cover anywhere as stated in Haynes manual and F150 forums, just oil breathers. Details of where this thing is (if it has one) would be much appreciated. A picture showing where it is would be super awesome. Haynes manual is worthless. Not very accurate with regards to engine layout. Reason I am searching, the truck threw a PO174 code, lean on bank 2. So I am guessing its not the O2 sensors, I cleaned the MAF sensor and K&N filter. So my next check was going to be the pcv valve and the elbow of the conection to see if there is a leak.

We have two children, 4 and 1, and she stays home full-time. I work very hard and am a good provider, and I'm very frustrated. Our house is a wreck, the laundry's never done, and the groceries I request are never there. She cooks, in that she'll buy food to cook and start cooking when I get home, but often I end up doing it. I cook elaborate meals for her, take her out often, and help where I can, but am I bad person for wanting to come home to a clean house, a warm meal, and some relaxation? We received planning permission for our conservatory but local council asked for exterior bldg materialsamples

Why is the govt. bailing out those who have purchased beyond their means?

I do not mind helping someone out with my tax dollars if they have lost their job or it is a needy family, an elerderly person or a family who has tried to live within their means. But, there are lots of individuals who have purchased houses that are totally out of their means and now we the tax payer are bailing them out. I know of a family right now who closed on a $350,000 house and their income is around $60,000! My husband and I have always lived below our means and I would also love to have a fancy big house for my family. Military advice needed. Which branch? How to convince my parents?

Hi, I am 17 (a Junior in High School) and pretty set on my decision to join the armed forces. I spoke with my parents about it and my dad was not to thrilled at all and my mom seemed very apprehensive. They told me I have to go to college first and are convinced that that will rid me of my desire to serve, however, I know it won't. How can I get them to support my decision with out my dad feeling that he "wasted [his] money" on an Ivy League education? My next question is which branch to go in to. I am seriously considering NAVY because I would try till the day I die to become a US Navy SEAL. However, that is not a guarantee and I am not sure, if found to be unqualified for SEALs, that I could reach my potential on a ship or submarine when I would much rather be engaging in land operations. Also, I would love to be part of a branch that will push me to all of my limits both physical, and more importantly, intellectual. Can bent lawn mower blades be bent back to shape?

Someone borrowed my riding mower and returned it with the blade tips bent out of shape. Instead of being on a horizontal plane, they curl downwards rather severely at the tip. When I mow, it leaves a spiral shaped cut in the gr, a bunch of circles. Can I heat up the blades and bend them back to being straight? I have an oxy/acet torch. Do the blades need to be quenched in oil or water after heating them up? I happen to have a 5 gallon bucket that's full of used motor oil right next to the table vice and o/a torch. These cats are INSEPERABLE, they were from the same litter, we adopted them together, and never fight but, when they were in the cage together, they reacted really different, so I'd be careful. Hey there! I had my wisdom teeth surgically removed on August 21, 2010 so they have been out for a little over a month. I had 2 dry sockets that were packed for 2 weeks as well. My top sockets are almost all closed up but my bottom sockets are still open and still get food in them. I use the water pick after every meal so luckily I have not developed an infection or kept food in the sockets. It is normal to still have holes that are around the size of a birth control pill that big after a month? Should I make an appointment since they seem to not be healing? False positive drug testing?

My wife has recently had to take a drug screen for a job she just was hired for. She has taken 3 tests now and have came back positive for methamphetamines. She does not do any street drugs and never has, but this company has made her feel as if she is a criminal. She Does take perscribed medicines for her doctor for cronic back pain, migrains, and insomnia. She takes Hydrocodone which includes tylenol with codiene for her back. Tramdol for her back. Trazadone and hydroxyzine for her sleep. And topamax for her migrains. Those are all perscribed from her doctor. She has also had broncitis for the past 2 months and has been taking nyquil/dayquil, and mucinix. The drug test cup was the one you urinate in and pull the strip off the side and the results show on the side, which we have been hearing are cheap drug tests. This employer has refused to send her to the hospital to draw blood or even a urine test through the hospital because of price. Im just curious if anyone has any info on this and if they have knowlege of what may cause a false postive on these tests. Thanks

I had my tongue repierced recently. I used to have it pierced before and when I took the long barbell out I put a normal one is. BUT it was tight on me. I have it pierced a little in the back. We've heard it a million times - starving yourself doesn't work for fat reduction. Depriving your body of too many calories leads the metabolic rate to decrease (the body's defense mechanism against starvation) and when food is reintroduced, most of the food is stored as fat. But is there a test to know how much one would have to reduce in order for the body to slow down? I do. Sometimes I'll write a long answer to someone who really needs help, but can never get it 'up' because that 'breather' keeps coming up even hours later. I think that the only true democracy is a direct democracy, with not one executive, but a group (such as switzerland) Socially, Im as liberal as they come, pro-choice, pro-gay marriage (not civil unions! marriage!) etc etc. However economics im into laissez-faire economics but with workers protection. ehh i would change some moves around on torterra, staravia, and luxray. Also if u come in contact with an ice pokemone thats half ur team garchomp, staravia, and torterra all one and done agaisnt a decent ice trained pokemon. Over all its not great i wouldnt say good either u could put more thought into the pokes and also their moves most moves hear are one level deep u might want to make a few combos here like one pokemon to set up another. 4/10 i would rate it due to a huge ice weakness and simple move sets

My husband works for a very controlling boss. I rue the day he hounded my husband into coming on board. He was happy in his old job and now is stressed beyond belief. Florida wouldn't suit me. Vancouver may not be warm all the time but Florida is too darn hot much of the year, and I'd have to wear sunscreen most of the year. In Florida it will be too hot for the kids to play outside. And I don't know where you got the idea that an average house or apartment is $1 million in Vancouver.

Above 100 degrees maybe upper resp viral infection, not treated with antibiotics, it will run it's course. Tylenol will drop your temperature, and you might sweat. Vit C and multi vitamin won't help., won't hurt. Fevers are beneficial to help fight viruses and infections. Above 102, 103, or 104 you need to go to the doctor...Dont' take too much tylenol and be careful with other cold meds, they may contain tylenol known as acetominophen. It can damage your liver in high doses.,

I have SVT and Im 11 weeks pregnant will they do an early ultrasound on the baby?

Im 11 weeks pregnant and I have SVT (Supra ventricular Technacardyia) I started having chest pains last night I dont know if they were indigestion related or heart related it wasnt a bad pain it was just an uncomfortable feeling to wear I couldnt sleep. I worry that even though I had heart surgery to correct the problem it could be effecting the baby will they do an early ultrasound. My Ob/gyn doesnt want to do an ultrasound till Im 20 weeks she hasnt even tooken into consideration my heart problem yet because they had to get medical records from my heart doctor. I was suppost to have an appointment yesterday at the ob/gyn but they had to cancel it my insurance is transitioning from one carrier to another none are in effect so they refused care unless I paid $1000 up front. I could see $100 but where to they honestly expect me to get $1000 for a routine ob/gyn prenatal appt?
